Getting into Penn was one of my dreams when I was a kid and when I was in high school. Although I still believe that I can succeed wherever I go to college, and don't doubt that I'm 100% as good as any kid there (not being cocky or conceited, but saying that every person is amazing in a different way), I know that seeing this Postsecret card and not feeling any way bitter or angry means that I have completely gotten over the college admissions process. I have moved on and above the ridiculously ridiculous getting-into-college business, even though I've spent so much of my life dreaming of it. Maybe all it took was a change of view and an appreciation for everything that I have and have been given.

(I think I could have survived at Penn, but like what the sender meant, it would have meant sacrificing a lot, and who knows if my "self" could survive that :) )
